چکیده
Introduction Gastric cancer (GC) is the fifth most prevalent globally, with third highest case fatality rate. Neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) are a reticulated structure of DNA, histones, and antimicrobial peptides produced by active neutrophils that trap pathogens. Even though NETs associated poorer recurrence-free survival (RFS) overall (OS), specifics this interaction between cells yet unknown. Methods The keywords “neutrophil gastric cancer” were used in GEO database for retrieval, GSE188741 dataset was selected to obtain NETs-related gene. 27 genes screened univariate Cox regression analysis ( p < 0.05). employed identify categorize NETs-subgroups GC patients under Consensus clustering analysis. 808 TCGA-STAD combined GES84437 randomly divided into training group n = 403) test at ratio 1:1 validate signature. Results Based on Multivariate LASSO develop prognosis model. We developed very specific nomogram improve NETs-clinical score’s usefulness. Similarly, we also performed great result pan-cancer study NETs-score. Low scores linked higher MSI-H (microsatellite instability-high), mutation load, immune activity. stem cell (CSC) index chemotherapeutic treatment sensitivity connected NET score. Our comprehensive suggests have role tumor microenvironment, clinicopathological features, prognosis. Discussion NETs-score risk model provides basis better therapy outcomes patients.

Gastric Cancer MicroRNAs Meta-signature
Gastric cancer (GC) is one of the most common types of cancer and the second leading cause of cancer-associated mortality. Identification of novel biomarkers is critical to prolonging patient survival. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) proved to play diverse roles in the physiological and pathological state in cancers including GC. Herein we were aimed at performing a meta-analysis on miRNA profiling studies ...

متن کاملCXCR2–CXCL1 axis is correlated with neutrophil infiltration and predicts a poor prognosis in hepatocellular carcinoma
BACKGROUND & AIMS Inflammation is a hallmark of cancer, yet the mechanisms that regulate immune cell infiltration into tumors remain poorly characterized. This study attempted to characterize the composition, distribution, and prognostic value of CXCR2(+) cells in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and to examine the CXCR2 ligands that are responsible for local immune infiltration in different area...
متن کاملTrop2 is overexpressed in gastric cancer and predicts poor prognosis
The cell surface protein Trop2 is overexpressed in a variety of human cancers. Trop2 expression increases tumor development and metastasis and reduces patient survival. However, little is known about the role of Trop2 expression and its prognostic value in gastric cancer (GC), particularly in Chinese populations. We analyzed Trop2 expression in GC tissues collected from Chinese GC patients. Qua...
متن کاملThree-microRNA signature identified by bioinformatics analysis predicts prognosis of gastric cancer patients
AIM To identify multiple microRNAs (miRNAs) for predicting the prognosis of gastric cancer (GC) patients by bioinformatics analysis. METHODS The original microarray dataset GSE93415, which included 20 GC and 20 tumor adjacent normal gastric mucosal tissues, was downloaded from the Gene Expression Omnibus database and used for screening differentially expressed miRNAs (DEMs). The cut-off crite...
